Below are the upcoming events on the Hope Community Church calendar. There are a mixture of men’s, women’s and church wide events that offer a great way to connect and build relationships. Good Friday Service
Make plans to attend our annual Good Friday Service at our South End site on Friday, April 19th at 7 PM. We will gather to reflect, pray, worship and prepare our hearts to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior on Easter morning. No child care is provided.
Easter Egg Hunt
Please join us Saturday, April 20 for our Church Wide Egg Hunt! We will meet at 10:00 at the Barn at OP. Remember to drop off one dozen stuffed (candy must be individually wrapped) eggs PER HUNTER on Sunday mornings at either location by Sunday, April 14.
Child Safety Training
Thursday, May 2
Children’s Ministry Volunteers, please plan to join us for an important Child’s Safety Training, Thursday, May 2 at 7pm in the OP Fellowship Hall. It is important that all our volunteers are adequately trained on our Children Safety Policy. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP on Hope’s event page to let us know you are coming.
Friday, May 17 – Saturday, May 18
Our quarterly membership class will be held Friday, May 17 from 7-9pm and Saturday, May 18 from 9am-1pm. This is a great way to learn more about the DNA of our church! This class is required for membership, but taking the class does not mean that you must become a member.
Dads + Sons at the Ballpark
Sunday, May 19
Calling all dads and sons! Join us for an afternoon of Knights baseball on Sunday, May 19 at 2:05pm. We will meet together at Romare Bearden Park at 1:30 pm to walk to the game. Ticket sales will close on Tuesday, April 30. Purchase tickets below!
Saturday, June 8
Ladies, save the date for our Summer Soirée! On June 8th, the women of Hope will take over Carrigan Farms in Mooresville, NC. This is a great way to connect with other ladies at Hope! There is a $30 registration fee ($50 for families – if you’d like to bring your daughter 12 years or older), which includes a catered lunch with drinks, recreational activities, and private use of the facility.
