OP friends, the good news: Hope is growing! The bad news: Not everyone seeking a community group will find one this fall. Starting Thursday, 9/30, 7-9pm, we’ll be hosting bi-monthly gatherings (9/30, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11, 12,9) called Discovering Community to allow OP attendees who are not currently in a community group to eat and fellowship together, learn more about Hope’s vision for community, and ask questions.

Discovering Community is an especially great event for OP attenders to join if:
1) You’re new to Hope and want to learn more about why and how we do community; 2) You’ve been at Hope for a while but aren’t sure yet whether community groups are right for you; 3) You’re considering leading a community group in the future and want to get a preview of what that entails; or 4) You simply haven’t found an open group to join this fall. We’re hopeful to launch a few new OP community groups out of Discovering Community in January, so attending these gatherings will be one of the best ways to find a group in the near future.

Perfect attendance isn’t required, but you’ll definitely get more out of these gatherings if you can attend consistently. Depending on how many sign up, we may ask for a small, voluntary donation (~$5) to cover some of the cost of food. Email tripsmith@hopecommunity.com if you have questions!
