We will be hosting a Maundy Thursday service at our OP site, partnering with Christ Our King church, at 6:00pm on April 2nd. Maundy Thursday remembers the night Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples before going to the cross. The word Maundy comes from the Latin word for “command,” referring to Jesus’ words in John 13:34: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you.” As we read Scripture, pray, and share the Lord’s Supper together with our brothers and sisters from Christ Our King, we remember Christ’s humble love and the new covenant sealed in His blood.
