Katie Billington, Cotswold Women’s Shepherd

Katie has called Charlotte home since high school. She came to know Jesus at a young age and her faith grew steadily, particularly through high school youth group and involvement in college ministry. In those seasons, strong mentors and Bible study leaders showed her what a grace filled life looked like, in full dependence on Jesus.

After graduating from Elon University with a degree in Elementary Education,  Katie moved home to Charlotte where she began her teaching career. She taught in CMS for five years, and then she moved into private Christian education. She still stays involved with local schools and tutoring. Katie met her husband, Morgan, in Charlotte and they were married in 201. After an infertility journey, they were blessed with their son, William, through IVF in 2022.

Katie loves lingering over a good meal with great friends, being out in the sunshine with a book, crafting or a project, a good game of mahjong, and spending time with her family. One of her favorite practices is recounting the ways the Lord is making all things new as He writes beautiful stories in people’s lives. Katie is honored to be able to care for the women of Hope as a part of this team.
