Hope Community Church provides safe, secure, and loving care to infants through 5th grade according to our Child Safety Plan.
Children from 2 years old through Kindergarten are taught God’s word using The Gospel Project. This three year curriculum takes children through the whole Bible with a focus on connecting every story to the gospel. Our goal is to be able to answer the questions “How can we see Jesus in the story?” each and every week. ALL age groups cover the same story on a Sunday at an age appropriate level.
Our elementary age children are taught using the New City Catechism. The goal of this 52 week curriculum is to plant truth into their hearts and minds that will in turn help them navigate their ever-changing world through a biblical framework. Application activities and teaching points get at the heart and the “why” this stuff matters. Through the teaching of this curriculum, our desire is for our children to know God… not just know about Him.
If you are attending our OP site, please register your child each week. You can find the sign-up link here from Thursday to Sunday of each week.
We believe every child is created in God’s image and deeply loved by Him (Genesis 1:27). At Hope Community Church, we want every child to feel included, have access to participate fully, and know they truly belong. If your child would benefit from specific accommodations during children’s ministry, we would be honored to support your family. Please contact your site’s Children’s Ministry Coordinator. We are here to walk with you — because in Christ, we are one body, and every part matters (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).
