Job Summary
Hope’s Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the daily administrative functions of the church. The person must be highly detailed, able to handle confidential information, have excellent organization skills, be motivated to foresee the need of & self-start many projects, and must work well with different personalities. The Administrative Coordinator will primarily support the Pastors and Staff and will report to/ be overseen by the Director of Communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet people coming in for appointments
- Respond to phone calls and emails from congregants (including the info@ email inbox), and direct needs and requests to the appropriate party, as needed
- Update & Print Weekly Bulletins
- Coordinate delivery of bulletins to all locations
- Process incoming mail
- Maintain office supplies
- Schedule New Member Interviews, Premarital Counseling, Baptisms, and Other Meetings as Needed
- Assist in maintaining the Church database
- Prepare quarterly for Discovering Hope classes by communicating with attendees and prepping class materials
- Work with Dir. of Communication to keep Internal Calendar up to date for all Hope and external functions
- Work with staff and Dir. of Communication to ensure success of internal events (printing and prepping materials, building coordination, parking, calendar, nametags, bulletin announcements, etc.)
- Support staff with additional administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills:
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Working Knowledge of Google Email & Google Calendar

- Experience with Planning Center
- Supports and adheres to the mission, vision, values, and philosophy of ministry of Hope Community Church
- A winsome, Gospel character that can work well with a variety of personality types
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to serve with humility, patience, vulnerability, and repentance
- A good representative of Hope and Hope’s culture, as the first interaction many people have with our church
Hours and Compensation:
The Administrative Coordinator is a full-time position, 30 hours/week.
Salary and Benefits determined by experience.
