Amanda Kerr, Cotswold Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Amanda was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. Born during a Duke March Madness game, she has been a lifelong Duke basketball fan since day one. She came to know the Lord in middle school through her youth group and loved being a part of a church community. She attended Appalachian State University, where she was introduced to Young Life. After a college transfer and a few years of leading Young Life, she graduated with her Nursing degree and started working in cardiac critical care.

Itching to have a big city move, she decided to take the advice of a close friend and moved to Charlotte in 2012. She quickly got involved with Charlotte Young Life where she would meet many of her closest friends. She met Griffin in 2015 and they were married in the fall of 2017. They have two children Annie (almost 7) and Davis (3). They started attending Hope in 2015.

Amanda has gotten to experience a community through Hope that cares deeply. They have celebrated her wins and have also covered her in prayer and comfort during hard seasons. Amanda will continue to work as a nurse alongside her role at Hope, and she is currently a Nurse Navigator for cardiac patients. She is excited to come alongside her community at Cotswold to serve children and their families.
