Hannah Malaby, Operations Coordinator

Hannah was raised in Waxhaw, North Carolina, by believing parents, and it was there that she first came to know Jesus. She attended Appalachian State University, earning a BSBA in Banking and Finance, as well as in Risk Management and Insurance. More importantly, it was during this time that she truly experienced the personal nature of the gospel and the joy of living it out within a community of fellow believers.

After completing her MBA, Hannahreturned home to Charlotte to pursue a career at Wells Fargo. In 2018, it became clear that Hope Community Church was the church home where the Lord was calling her to put down roots. She was drawn to the authenticity of the staff and congregation, as well as the way the Bible was taught each week. It was at Hope where the Lord graciously introduced her to Dalton, who would become her husband in June 2024. Her decision to join the Hope staff is a testament to God opening unexpected doors and giving her confidence to trust Him in such new and unknown territory.

You can usually find Hannah with her nose buried in her Kindle, walking her Australian Shepard (Oslo), or gabbing over drinks with dear friends. She loves spending time in her home, hosting friends for dinner parties, working in the backyard, or playing her favorite card games. Hannah is deeply thankful for her church community, where she relishes the opportunity to serve those who have loved and supported her in so many ways.
