South End Women's Shepherd

Hollister Conrad, South End Women’s Shepherd

Hollister is a Charlotte native who grew up with a deep appreciation for church community as a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church since birth. After graduating from Charlotte Country Day School, she attended UNC Chapel Hill where she earned her BSN in nursing — years she counts among her best, marked by lifelong friendships and a growing sense of calling.

Hollister’s nursing career took her to Duke Children’s, where she worked in pediatric oncology, before returning to Charlotte in 2015. She worked in a variety of healthcare settings in town while navigating her 20’s. She now channels her organizational skills and care for people into her role as a business administrator at Eagle Commercial Realty.

It was the desire for community and connection that first brought Hollister to Hope, and Hope quickly became home. Through years of change — career transitions, a whirlwind COVID-era romance with her now-husband Marcus (thanks, Hinge!), and marriage in 2021 — Hope has been a constant. She and Marcus are now kept busy, humbled, and laughing by their two children, Caroline and Daniel, and their golden retriever, Ollie. In her (limited!) free-time, Hollister enjoys long walks, a good meal, traveling, and investing in friendships.

Hollister is eternally grateful for the way Jesus has used Hope to deepen her understanding of His affection for her and for the world.
