Shannon Joseph, OP Women’s Shepherd

Shannon is a native Charlottean and comes from a long line of family members who have called Charlotte home forever. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, she moved back to Charlotte to pursue a career in investment banking. This is where she met her husband Brian. Shannon and Brian have been married nearly 20 years and have a 16 year-old daughter, Caroline. They have been at Hope since 2019 and have been so encouraged by the impact that the teaching and the community have had on their entire family. Shannon has known Jesus since she was a little girl; and she is thankful for places like Camp Lurecrest, Gaston Christian School and The Barnabas Center, especially for the ways they have helped her pursue the Lord.

After she left the bank when Caroline was born, Shannon started her own interior design firm. While she does not practice full time anymore, she still loves to dabble in the home interiors business and enjoys a good project. She loves good conversation, a deep-thinking book and quality time with friends over coffee, a walk or a meal. The beach is her happy place and she loves a good ride on the trails with a horse when the time presents itself.
