How do we grow in areas of spiritual doubt, anxiety, guilt, or anger? What does sanctification look like when we engage it at the heart/emotional level? During this time together, we will look at the dynamics of how Christians grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally, as well as unpack a model for looking at heart growth as a Christian.  How can we be part of that process within the body of Christ?  How can we be growing ourselves beyond the places we struggle? How can the body of the church engage helping each other toward greater Christlikeness?

Join us on Saturday morning, March 15th, at our OP site for a leadership seminar led by Dr. John Cox, a Clinical Psychologist at Live Oak Psychological Associates in Jackson, MS.

A native of Jackson, Dr. Cox has been in clinical practice for 35 years, specializing in individual and marital therapy with adults, along with parent consultation for adolescents and children. He is a popular speaker in the areas of personal growth, marriage, parenting and The One Story of God’s redemption. He has authored 3 books- Setting Parents Free; The One Story: A Psychologist Reaches for the Heart of God; and The One Story Study Guide. John has been married to his wife, Norma, for 42 years (they have 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren), and he loves to cook and sail.
