Job Summary
The Facilities Coordinator ensures that all church buildings, grounds, and related equipment are safe, clean, well-maintained, and ready to support worship, ministry programs, events, and community use. This role coordinates facility operations, manages maintenance and vendor activities, and provides a welcoming physical environment for ministry.

Employment Status: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Classification: Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular facility inspections and oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely resolution in alignment with operational priorities (40%)
- Prepare facilities for worship services, ministry activities, and special events in coordination with ministry leaders (20%)
- Maintain applicable service provider relationships, including coordination, oversight, and quality assurance (15%)
- Develop and implement facility use policies and procedures to support effective and efficient space utilization (10%)
- Administer facility access, including keys, codes, and access permissions (5%)
- Oversee facility-related supplies and expenses, supporting budget stewardship (5%)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including local building codes, life safety, health regulations, and insurance requirements (5%)
Working Conditions
- This churchwide role includes work in the church offices and at each site, requires occasional evening and weekend commitments, and has some special physical requirements (e.g., ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks)

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits are commensurate with eligibility based on employment status.
